I am so lucky to work at Branksome Hall AND in Shin Saimdang (the residence house I work in with 8th/9th graders on some nights). The head of the house (Heidi) has posted the BEST inspirational posters throughout the dorm! I took pictures and wanted to share!
This was a poster made by some of the residents of Shin Saimdang. The woman is Shin Saimdang herself (featured on the 50, 000 won bill). She is a Korean artist and poet. Another example of Jeju embracing strong women throughout history!
A little hard to read... it says, "we are the leaves of one tree, we are the waves of one sea, the time has come to work together as a family, as one"
