Hi all...

FINALLY blogging about Busan!

First stop... Mr. Egg Hostel!

Awesome place/Awesome owners!  Great place to stay and centrally located in Haeundae!

Walking after checking in we found this...

Next stop: Haedong Yonggungsa Temple

The temple was originally constructed in 1376... with repairs occuring in 1970!  It is a rare find because most temples are located in the mountains... not on the shore line!  When we began to walk to the temple you could hear traditional monk chanting (we thought it was a recording).  When we reached the temple we saw/heard the monks within the temple walls.  So cool!

Third stop:  Gamcheon Cultural Village

Such a vibrant place full of colors and life!

Fourth stop:  Busan Tower!

People leave messages and lock them on the fence surrounding the tower.  Typically you write the names of loved ones or couples.  Some of the messages were incredibly sweet... made me teary eyed!

Fifth stop: Gwangbok-ro (fashion and culture street)

Tons of shopping... and SO many Christmas lights/trees (please look at our Christmas tree blog to get a better idea of just how many)!

Sixth stop: Gwangalli Bridge (aka the Diamond Bridge)

Very beautiful at night!

Sixth stop: Busan Aquarium

Andddddd last... on the subway heading to the airport

Love,
K.
